Designed as a companion to an existing Finale installation. Finale itself is separate software.
Install Remote Helper and connect your computer and mobile device to the same network.
Finale KeyPad connects your iPhone or iPad to an existing Finale desktop installation. Use a dedicated touch keypad to send notation shortcuts while your score stays open on the computer.
Keep familiar notation commands within reach without carrying an extra hardware keypad. What each shortcut does depends on Finale’s active tool, selection, and keyboard settings.
Finale KeyPad does not include Finale. Confirm that your existing Finale installation works on your computer before setting up the companion app.
The Finale KeyPad setup guide covers connection and input checks.
You need Finale desktop software, the mobile app, and Remote Helper. The current helper supports macOS 12 or later and Windows 7 or later; older Mac helper downloads are available for legacy systems.
